my dad is gonna buy me a camera for my 16th birthday because i really like photography and want to take better quality pictures. i really like the Canon – PowerShot 10.0-Megapixel Digital Camera. Model: SX10 IS( http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9051045&type=product&id=1218012527719 )
ive researched and looked at and compared different cameras, but ive decided that i want this one. am i making a good choice?

Well, you know how when you take a normal picture you can tell its not proffesionaly taken but when it is professionaly taken you can tell it is? But sometimes people take pictures with normal digital cameras and edit them to make it look like its proffesionaly taken? Can someone give me some help on how to make a normal picture taken by a digital camera look more proffesional? Like what could I do with it?
and I would like to add a different background to the image. Like I’ll take the image, and then crop out what I want and add the background, I could crop it out with the magic eraser tool, but how do I make the bavkground and the cropped image blend together to make it look like that was the original image?

I got an Olmpypus digital camera them model is NO.X-2, it is using requler XD card,I brought a high speed pic card from Wallmart that dosen’t seem works(need fromat something)i see another type card call type M, would these cards fix my camera?if need to be fromat how to do it?

I mean I took out the batteries, put them back in, cleaned the terminals, and got it to revive twice, but it stopped working shortly thereafter. Any ideas?

have a sony KDL-40s series tv and am trying to get pictures up on it from a kodak ‘easyshare’ compact camera. Connected the camera to the USB port on the TV and then gone to ‘menu’ and scrolled down to ‘Phot/Music’ but tv tells me No USB Device Detected. any Ideas? Thanks

Open Question: Can you fix a lends on a digital camera?

I have a Kodak camera and its only 6 months old and my sister dropped it and the lends (the comes out when you take a picture) bent so it wont close and now when you turn it on it just shuts off right away. Please help me I took such great care of it and now its broke and she cant afford to replace it. I am hoping I can fix it or find someone who can for a small cost. Thank you inadvance for your help
