Open Question: My camera says “This card cannot be used” when I insert a memory card. Please help?

Hi
Everytime I insert an SD memory card in my Nikon Coolpix 5600 camera I get an error message saying “This card cannot be used”. I am using a 4GB memory card. The memory card works fine with my other digital camera. Could it be that the memory size is too big for the camera to handle? or could there be a problem with the camera?
I appreciate any answers
Unfortunately I do not have the manual but I know for a fact that the camera takes SD memory cards so the card type is correct. But is it even possible for a camera to have a size limit on the memory card it takes??

Hello. I would like to purchase a Kodak Easyshare M575 Digi. Cam. But I would like to know how long you can film with it, and what you personally think about the video/picture quality. Thanks so much for answering!
Hi again. I just want to know how much time you have to film… for ex: 1 hour. Plus this will be my first camera.

I want to start doing photography, I currently have a compact digital camera and I am looking to buy a digital SLR camera. I don’t want to spend a fortune, however I do want a decent camera, I am looking to spend around the three hundred pound mark.
What camera do you suggest? Video taking facilities would be nice, but not a must.
many thanks

My friends and I want to make short films and I was look for any suggestions on any good cameras that can shoot in HD. I noticed a lot of people I know have been filming with a Canon 7D, but way too expensive. I’m looking to spend anything around $200. Iwas thinking of getting a Kodak z950. I really want to get a digital camera because the last camcorder I had was too noisy and would be noticable in our movies. Any good suggestions? I need this asap.

It seems all the others systems can do it EXCEPT my photoshop adobe elements 7.
When I try to invert the selection and place on another layer, even trying to LOAD it, I keep getting a “warning: no pixels were selected.”
This is after uploading my sketch on to the computer from my digital camera, turning Image–> Grayscale and then messing with the contrast and brightness to bring the best out of the lines. But it still fails >_
