Open Question: Digital Camera Help???????????????????????

My Camera Isn’t working correctly…when i go to take a pic, all i get for the image is a completely black picture……Even worse, its my mom’s camera….if she finds out she will be SOOOOOOOOOOO pissed off Please help if you can! this is urgent!

Open Question: Whats a good digital camera for starting a photography business?

I’m wanting to start my own photography business. I start taking classes in about 5 months and I want to purchase a good camera before I begin. My price range is cheaper than $2,500.00 but can be up to that amount. I would really like to hear from photographers who are experienced and can give me good advise. I’ve been thinking about getting the Canon EOS 50D Black 15.1 MP Digital SLR. Is this a good camera? any specific Lens anyone recommends to go with it? Any help I can get I will much appreciate.

Open Question: xbox 360 kinect and hdtv or smartphone or samsung dualview camera?

My 15th bday i soon what should i be getting?: an 24 in. hdtv and xbox 360 kinect (i have the white xbox 360 pro 60gb hhd now and a small standard tv) or should I save up for the $30 monthly data plan(for 2 years) so my parents let me get the bberry storm2 or another kewl smartphone on verizon? (i currently have the lg env touch and I dont really like it that much ) Or should I get the 12.2 mp samsung dualview digital camera from best buy? Im really interested in photography.
here are the prices:
kinect and tv= $150 for kinect and $200 for tv then watever games cost
dualview camera= $250 from bestbuy with carrying case, 4gb memory card, and an extra battery
smartphone (data plan only bc my parents will pay for the rest)= $30 monthly for 2 years + $360 a year. Thanks for your help.

Open Question: What is the best digital camera under 400.00?

I now have a canon point and shoot, but I want a camera with excellent photo quality (clear and crisp in the near field, and blurred in the background, like a good portrait). I like to take a lot of close-up shots, and I love to zoom in on things. More than anything, I just want it to look as professional as possible without having to pay the large amount of money. I love photography and I am ready to go to the next stage as far as camera quality. I do not, however have any formal training and have not taken any classes. The cameras that require lens changing are still a bit intimidating for me, but I could learn. Thanks for any help. Remember, I want excellent photo quality over anything else, including ease of use or delay, etc…

use an slr digital camera for there videos.
it is alot cheaper to get a digital camera for videos, and i am curious… should i buy a camcorder, or a digital camera
i was looking at the nikkon L110 (279 unless i find better deal) and the fujifilm finepix s1800 (229 unless i find better deal)
I really dont want to spen alot of money, and cant go over 300. i noticed the camcorders in the same resolution are alot more expensive. is the fps on these cameras good for average videos (im a video editor, and usually edit other peoples videos… but id like a camera to test out new effects i havent tried yet.)
also, if you suggest another camera tell me if there are any good ones at staples. i can get 100 off there any time. also memory cards dont matter, i can get them with my monthly 100 dollar staples reqard checks. they expire at end of month though so i can only get 100 off.

Open Question: What is the “Misc” folder used for on digital cameras?

Every camera I have ever owned or used with a memory card has a folder named “MISC” when you plug the card into a computer. I know what “DCIM” means, but as for searching around on google I have yet to find out what MISC is for.
