Open Question: Need a digital camera: (1) takes AA batteries (2) SD cards (3) fold-out display?

Thank you for taking the time to help me. I had this really great camera, but I lost it recently. So, please help me find a replacement. It was a Canon Powershot SX something. I always get cameras with AA batteries because you can always replace those wherever you are (and I do a lot of traveling). I prefer SD cards because I can also use them in my computer for storage. I also like a fold-out display so that it is protected. I would also like one with at least 12 megapixels and a great zoom. Hmmm… Any suggestions?

Okay so im young & this is going to be my first own actual digital camera (since my brother lost two already lol) Okay but since im young i dont want to spend $500 on a camera i want it to be very inexpensive but of course not like those big fat ugly ones. lol id prefer it to be cute not too big/fat to take good pictures (not blurry ones) & that records for a longish time because im a soon to be youtube blogger so i need it to video record please give me the name of the camera you suggest and if you can the price…also id love to know what kind of camera you have? or if you dont have one! & what you like/dont like about it & the price just in case i chose to wait a while save up more money to buy a better one! (which i doubt lol) Oh! also my friend told me i should check out the Fujifilm FinePix Z20fd Point & Shoot Digital Camera. Does anybody have it? If you do can you please give me your opinion on it thanks!

Open Question: neutral density filters question…?

i have a fujifilm finepix s1500 (a standard digital camera) and i was just wondering if there are filters out there that can be used on digital cameras as all i can find are SLR filters.
also, if there arent any filters for digital cameras would holding a filter over the lense of a camera work?

I’m shopping online for a digital camera this morning and I realize I don’t even know what to look for. I know I want to spend around $200 max. I think high megapixels is good? Lots of zoom? Durrr? It would be nice if it took HD video as well I guess. What do I need to look for?

Open Question: Choosing an external hard drive?

I was considering purchasing an external hard drive only to store pictures and short videos from my digital camera. I’m very concerned about my laptop and something happening to it because i have well over 5000 pictures of my son from when he was born till now that he is 3. I do have virus protection and take very good care of my computer but I would be devastated if something happened to his pictures. I would like to get an external hard drive and wanted to know how do i choose the best one and if an external hard drive is best for storing pictures and short videos?

Open Question: Digital camera memory?

My camera is Kodak Easy Share C310, has memory card 128MB. Sometimes after 20 photos it says internal memory full, other times it lets me take endless pics before needing to transfer them on to my computer. What have I pressed??! Want lots pics ! Thanks to anyone that is in the know!

Open Question: Does HD video on a regular digital camera compare to a Flip camera?

I don’t want to lug around a still camera and a pocket HD video camera. Is the video recording on the new digital point & shoots comparable to the Flip and it’s competitors, or is a dedicated video camera better?

Open Question: Is any geek out there to help me?

I formatted my 512 Mb Kodak memory card for some virus issues.
Further i copied some of my photos again into it……after this I plugged it into my Digital Camera, but it shows nothing! in fact it doesnt even detect my memory card!
Did any of its internal(hidden) setup files get erased when i tried to format it? If yes then where could i find these files over the internet, so that i can download them & copy them back again???

Open Question: How well do digital Polaroid camera’s work ?

I want to know now, so i wont be screwed when i get it. It’s between these two but i heard that when you try to download the pic’s to your computer, it won’t work. I want to know if thats true. If there are any flaws please let me know. Thanks
