i upgraded the firmware on my A835 digital camera. during the process my camera shut down, and now i cant turn it back on.
i have inserted fully charges alkaline energizer batteries, but its still not turning on.
help!?! what shall i do!

A lot of cameras seem to record movies of 640 x 480 pixels, 320 x 240 pixels (30 frames/sec.) with monaural sound but does that mean the final product would look the same?

I’m trying to start my own photography business and I need some portable lighting. I want it to be easy to move around, as I will be going to people’s homes, but I would like to spend the least amount of money possible without sacrificing quality. Any suggestions would help me out a lot.
I would also like the kind of lights that flash whenever to take a picture not the kind that stays on the whole time.

I don’t know what to get for Christmas!! I already have a laptop, digital camera, CHI straighter, phone, iPod nano, but I’m already asking for an iPod Touch, and I’m obsessed with Abercrombie/ Hollister clothes, and I’m already asking for gift cards for those places, and to the mall in general. My mom keeps asking me for a list but I have almost nothing to put on it!
(I’m 16), and have no idea what else to ask for!! Any ideas?

I had a Kodak EasyShare, and the actual camera was crappy (it got humidity damage), but it took really good photos.
I’m looking for a camera, that I can get at Staples, Future Shop, Best Buy or a place like that (I don’t want to order online). That meets the following criteria:
*Is NOT Kodak
*Can take decent photos with crappy lighting (ie. At concerts and clubs)
*Can take movement photos without being blurry
*Shows the battery meter (ie. How much battery life is left, not just a pop up when you’re low)
*Is SDHC compatible **This is the most important because I have a 32GB card that I paid $100 and I want to be able to use it**
*Is at least 10MP
I tried a Fuji FinePix J250W and it’s horrible. It doesn’t like odd lighting, it doesn’t like movement, and it keeps giving me memory card errors.
Any recommendations?
Open Question: Can I Take My Camera Into The Gig?

I know you’re allowed to take regular digital cameras into concerts, but mine is a digital camera with an attached lens. I took it to a small gig last month, and after arguing with the security about the fact that it is NOT a professional camera, I was then allowed in with it. It is 11mpx and has an ATTACHED lens, and I’m 15, so I’m hardly going to be selling the photos. I have a Nikon Coolpix P90, and I’m going to a gig in a bigger venue next week – will they allow me in with this camera? I’ve only ever brought in small cameras to this venue.

i spend alot of time taking pics of my 2 dogs…but when it comes to action shots,by the time ive pressed the button,ive missed the action..takes too long to click,i spent 259,on sony cybershot..but it just misses the action shots.anyone know of a good camera,not too complicated i could buy..was thinking of a slr,but seems complicated to me,as only ever used a small digital camera
